Make your own Shoe Rack

After seeing the Shoe Stand I had posted, many of my friends wanted to know how to make them.

So I decided to post the steps of instructions to make the Shoe Rack first, as that is very easy, needy and at the same time very expensive too.

You may follow the instructions below and make your own shoe rack. Why waste money when you can make your own that looks as good as new.

Materials Required
  • 1 Heavy Duty Duct Tape
  • 1 self adhesive Wall Paper or Shelf Liner of your choice. (It should be waterproof too.)
  • 1 Scissors
Step 1: Collect 6 similar size cardboard boxes that are rectangular in shape and open on top as shown below.

Step 2: Arrange the boxes as shown below and stick them together using the tape. The skeleton of the shoe rack is ready.

Step 3: Stick the Adhesive wall paper on the floor of each rack shelf and then on the insides. Then stick the paper on the outside. See to it that you cover the shoe rack neatly all over.

If you feel the adhesive paper is peeling away from the cardboard just use a transparent scotch tape to help the wallpaper stick firmly.

The Shoe Rack is ready in just 3 easy steps. If you have all the materials in hand, it will take less than 2 hours to make the shoe rack.

The instructions given above are based on the shoe racks I have made. With the help of these you may use your creativity and simplify or make a better one. If you do, please drop a mail with a picture of the stuff you made and I ll be proud to post that too.

Thanks for dropping by! Enjoy making your own Shoe rack!
